If you have ever hiked long distances you realize just how important it is to pack light.  The same is true when you are carrying a lot of JavaScript on your site, especially if your site is using various JS libraries.

So, to help you pack light, I have packed up the LightBox  and Prototype Window Class using Dean Edward’s packer utility.

NOTE: I have uploaded these as .txt files, so you will need to remove the txt extension first - duh.

Why provide these when you can just run the files through packer yourself?

Well, the problem is that in order to pack these libraries you need to ensure that all statements are ending with a semicolon as well as ensuring all if statements use brackets - so I have taken the time to clean up all the JS and then pack it using both the shrink variables and Base 62 encoding options.

Also, be sure to check out protoculous - which contains both prototype.js as well as script.aculo.us in one file that is a tiny 77KB.
